Shala Mills is new to the blogging world, but she is a seasoned pontificator who is launching into her Everyday Citizen’s blog with a mixture of interest, enthusiasm and angst, wondering how well her verbal skills will translate into the internet world. For the sake of potential readers, we should hope that blogging will inspire brevity since her role as a college professor has accustomed her to 50 and 75 minute classroom lectures.
Shala is married and is the mother of two terrific teenage daughters. She has a J.D. from the University of Kansas and a B.A. in History from Baylor University. She teaches a wide range of courses, mostly in the area of public law, but more recently in the area of political philosophy. She loves teaching and is the honored recipient of teaching and advising awards. She is an avid reader, a sporadic writer, a fair-weather gardener, an aspiring chef and sommelier, and an adventurous traveler. We're indeed very thrilled that Shala is embracing this new media and we know her readers will always feel honored that she takes time to share her thoughts and ideas with us here.
Shala welcomes you to view her archives here.
