Megan Hill graduated summa cum laude from Spring Hill College with a B.S. in political science.
Megan recently finished a year of service with AmeriCorps NCCC. She worked on a team of 18- to 24-year-olds on hurricane relief in the Gulf Coast, among other projects. Now, she is a proud New Orleans native currently working in Seattle for the non-profit America SCORES Seattle.
Megan is a freelance writer. In college, she served as the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper and won awards for her writing. One of her more recent works appeared in Edible Seattle. She is writing a book about her year of service with NCCC. She also writes at her personal blog.
Megan's many passions include environmental protection, national service, and Gulf Coast hurricane recovery.
