Michael J. Fedor is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in Secondary Education, English & Communications. After earning tenure as a high school teacher in Pennsylvania, Michael left classroom instruction to work professionally on progressive causes across the Commonwealth. He has worked full time on a wide range of issues including energy, conservation, education reform, and economic justice for working families.
Michael is the only Democrat on the borough council of his rural town where he serves as the chairman of public works. He is president of the Nittany LERA Chapter in State College, PA and serves as State Director of Repower America in Pennsylvania, as well as director of the Central Pennsylvania Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO.
