Katwy K. Heru is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and trailblazer. He traces his cultural heritage to a lineage of kings, queens, leaders, thinkers, impresarios and cross-cultural change agents.

While having served in the role of community coordinator (and currently Manhattan Borough Coordinator) for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), for more than 13 years, Katwy has also maintained an active career of civic activism and community development. It is through this myriad of activities that Katwy has founded two private sector endeavors, K H Management Consulting and Creative Ventures and Joint Opportunities, Inc. Recently, he has also co-founded two other exciting endeavors, Emancipation Enterprises Inc., and The Nexus Publishing Group, Inc. Katwy also serves on Community Board 10 in the borough of Manhattan (New York City, New York) where he is a chair of the Housing Committee.

We have noticed that as executive director, chief operating officer and co-founder of Emancipation Enterprises Incorporated, a world class personal growth and leadership development corporation, Katwy has a daunting schedule. In these capacities, he entertains requests daily to speak at various events throughout the community and on behalf of the organization with corporate sponsors. We believe that the sky is truly the limit for this young man as he and his organizations continue to explore opportunities both nationally and internationally, engaging communities, groups, and individuals in the "What’s next?" conversations.
