Joshua Dieker, a Kansas attorney, previously served as a District Representative in Congresswoman Nancy Boyda’s office. There he worked to help the 670,000 residents of the district resolve issues ranging from problems with Social Security, to helping farmers struck by natural disasters. Along the way he got to meet thousands of Kansans and discovered he has a real passion for helping people untangle the web of red tape that surrounds so many important benefits. Joshua regularly wrote the Casework Corner column in Congresswoman Boyda’s weekly newsletter. (All of those past columns have been archived at this special site.)
Having been raised in a household that valued the traditional populism that Kansas is known for, Joshua has a passion for fighting to protect the rights and the prosperity of the little guy, who might otherwise be forgotten by the big corporate interests that have managed to build so much power over the past few decades.
Joshua lives in Osage City with his partner of four years and two cats, Edward and Edith. He also receives mail at joshua.dieker at gmail dot com.
