James says that in a strong democracy,
its citizens must be committed to seeking information and knowledge. He explains
that our elected officials should be our voice in government. They should act as
we would have them act, in deed, word and spirit. If they fail to do this,
citizens must find new and better representatives and make sure the new ones
are elected.
James is working towards an M.S. in Communication studies with
an emphasis in political journalism. He will continue working in both journalism
and politics after graduation. He served as assistant editor of
The Edge and currently
as news editor for
The
University Leader. James thinks it is a citizen duty to make one's own

In my younger years, I infrequently shot a gun.
It was a 22 handgun; my friends and I used it to shoot at road signs. So to start off, I want to be clear: I don't hate handguns; I think they can be valuable tools for shooting road signs.
