George Dungan hails from the great state of Nebraska. He has spent his life involved in Midwestern progressive politics. George is now pursuing a degree in political science and women's studies at the University of Kansas. He was also recently elected by the Kansas Young Democrats as that state organization's 2nd Vice President.
Recently, George interned in Washington D.C. for the consulting firm Progressive Strategies, LLC, and helped to promote the book The Progressive Revolution: How the Best in America Came to Be by Michael Lux.
George believes in equality and fairness for all citizens, and in the importance of fighting for what you believe in. In his spare time, he enjoys talking politics and policy, playing his guitar, watching movies or reading biographies of notable politicians, such as Abe Lincoln or Hubert Humphrey.
He also writes at the Kansas Free Press.
