Thanks for sharing those pictures, Janet. Weren't those kids just beautiful as they romped and played.
I had to think about how it used to be. My wife is from S Dakota and when she came to KS, she missed the snow. She continued to be delighted when the forecast had snow in it, even after we were married and moved to NW KS. We had livestock and snow wasn't my favorite substance to have to deal with.
But now, some 50+ years later, she is plumb happy to sit by the fire and let the grandkids go romp and play, while we reminisce about the good old days when we used get lots more snow, the wind blew harder and the drifts got bigger.
