I'm Hotter Than My Daughter: 'I'm not a Grandma, I'm a GLAMMA!'

By Tatiana McKinney
February 3, 2010

Reality Shows have stooped to a whole new low! BBC has created a show that takes a look at mother/daughter relationships in which moms feel they are hotter than their daughters!

According to Salon.com, "BBC Premieres the new reality show with self-explanatory gag-inducing title "Hotter Than My Daughter" tomorrow. Based on the previews, the premise seems simple -- three moms cavort around in sequined tops, and their teenage daughters cringe."

Hahahahah...

In the show, you are introduced to Kobie and Sharon. Kobie, 18 year old soon to be mother likes to wear "comfy" clothes, while her mother Sharon, 40 year old, mother of 3, flaunts her stuff in the skimpiest outfits possible.

Kobie says:

"Mum - you're 40! Dress like it! Mum does have the perfect body, but she shows off too much of it.

Sharon says:

"I just feel empty if I am covered up as I don't get the attention I love. I thrive on it.

The next mother daughter Duo is Jessica and Allison:

According to the Sun, "Both Allison, 42, and only child Jessica, 17, dress to impress all of the time, thanks to the influence of the family business on their lust for labels."

Jessica says:

"Now I am 17, I thought it would be me getting the attention, but all the boys at school comment on how she is hotter than me. I want the boys to fancy me and not her.

Allison Says:

"I have made a success out of my work and like to show that in how I dress. My mother was a glamour puss and her mother before - it's just the way we are. I could never slob about in jeans and a T-shirt.

The Last Mother/Daughter team is Amber and Lisa:

According to the Sun, "Fast-forward 15 years and Lisa still hasn't changed her taste in clothes or nights out - even though she's now a 36-year-old mum of two. Most weekends she takes a trip to London from her home in Bedfont, Middlesex, and parties into the small hours with her pals while daughters Amber, 15, and Ebony, 12, stay with family."

Lisa says:

"I love the atmosphere in clubs, the clothes I get to wear and the new friends I always meet.

Amber says:

"My friends get jealous that Mum is so cool, and are envious that when I am 18 she can take me clubbing. But if she carries on wearing those clothes, I wouldn't be seen dead with her."

My Thoughts...
