A New Star Will Soon Be Born!

By Pamela Jean
July 4, 2009

On August 19th, EverydayCitizen.com is giving birth to its first offspring - a state-specific site - Kansas Free Press.

What is the Kansas Free Press?

KFP will be an extremely lively, well-read and highly respected state-wide online newspaper, in blog format, written exclusively by citizen journalists. Kansan writers will write about people, politics, and policies that effect Kansans.

What's the matter with Kansas? We want to know that too. KFP writers intend to sort it out. They'll even fix it. While they're at it, they'll adopt a new state color, too. If you're not from Kansas, you'll have wonderful ring-side seats to watch the action up close whenever you visit KansasFreePress.com. Even those who don't live in Kansas will enjoy watching the progressives in Kansas unite and turn the color of their state from red to blue. If you are from Kansas, you may even lead this charge. It will all happen at Kansas Free Press. Really!

Are you on Facebook? If so, please become our "fan" on our facebook fan page too! That way, we'll be able to keep you up-to-date on all the upcoming excitement! Through our Facebook page, we'll also provide you with progress reports. We'll introduce our newest and most interesting writers to you as they each come aboard. We'll even invite you to share your ideas and opinions with us. And, of course, we will definitely ask you to join in the celebration for our grand opening! Please "fan" us at our Kansas Free Press facebook page.
