It's one day after the Pennsylvania primary, and very little has changed.
Senator Clinton won - by double digits - but Senator Obama still has more delegates. Exit polls aside, there is a misplaced fear that this hurts Democrats and helps republicans. I don't buy that.
Let's be realistic: is there anything so incredibly nasty that either Democrat can do or say that will tarnish the eventual nominee? No. Is Senator McCain's personal life, voting record, and temperament so flawless and clean that voters will automatically embrace him over a bruised, tattered Democratic nominee? No. Will the majority of Clinton's or Obama's supporters refuse to support the eventual Democratic nominee? No.
Emotions are high because we all want change. Both Democrats and republicans are incredibly unhappy with our economy, the war, and the overall combination of arrogance and ineptitude of the Bush Administration.
So, Democrats, don't worry. This will all work out for the best. And if it doesn't, we can always blame Bill and Hillary.
