Just Braggin' on a Blogger (One of Our Own)

By Pamela Jean
October 28, 2007

I just got to say that I'm so proud of one of our bloggers. The girl has a Doctorate in Education which would allow her to open so many door in so many places - for herself and for her own personal benefit. With her accomplishments, she could be an administrator of a school system, a professor in a university, even a pundit on CNN talking about that "No Child Left Behind Program." Yet, what does she do?

Our friend, Janet Morrison, lives in an impoverished urban neighborhood in central Dallas where she works with children facing the challenges of poverty. She figures out ways of strengthening education for the children she knows by building their confidences, widening their skills, and helping them to reach for college or successful vocations. Janet's a blogger here at Everyday Citizen and I just have a lot of respect and admiration for her. Check out this video....

You can learn more about the great organization she works for here.

And, read her blogs here.
